Alice first appears to us dressed in a black satin dress.
As the scenes change, as well as the lighting we are better able to
see what exactly her dress is made of.
The dress is corset like with a flaring skirt decorated with medievil gray crosses. Black and gray lace adorn the hem of the skirt. The sleeves and top part of her dress, which connects the corset piece to the neck piece, is made with a softer and lighter colored material. Black stockings cover her legs and simple black dress shoes adorn her feet. A simple white cross on a black neck cord hangs around her neck, while black silk ribbons holds her blonde hair into pigtails. These are the only accessories that she wears. my thoughts: I must admit I had never thought to see an anime character who could pull off the pigtail look, let alone a digimon character. If you think back to every female character that has ever worn her hair in either pigtails or a single side one (as sported by Juri) they come across as looking hoth childish and a little bit silly. Even famous characters such as Tot from Weiß Kreuz, although wickedly cool and hardly a pushover, seems rather too cutesy and weak. I must also say that I was very happy to see anot one but TWO digidestined girls that forgoed the obligatory colors of pink and purple in this season. Granted Juri didn't wear either of these colors, however she still acted in a rather typical girlish manner. Look .2 - We dont actually get to see Alice decked out in this outfit, rather
we see a family picture of her in this change of clothes.
Gone is the dress and in place of it is a black and white baseball-tee, and what one can only assume as blue jeans possibly. Her hair is still worn in pigtails, however in place of her black ribbons, there are now blue ones. my thoughts: Even though we really dont get a good glimpse of this outfit, I must admit I like it. Its not overly girly what-so-ever. Sugoi!
